Imagine this: You're playing the virtual objective "Watch Your Step (V)/This Place Can Be a Little Rough"
and you want to know who is a Corellian pilot, or even more, a Corellian of ability < 3. With this database
a link in the card's game text will show you a list of what cards fulfill those requirements.
The cards when viewed are made to look as realistic as possible.
The search query lets you search through a special field which I have named "Extra Text". For characters this is the field
which contains the text "Force-Sensitive" or "Dark Jedi" or "Medical Droid". For ships this field contains
the type, such as "X-wing" or "Imperial-Class Star Destroyer" or "ATT". For system locations which field contains the parsec number.
Being able to search this field is a very powerful way to find specific cards within the database especially when a game
text designates such a specific subgroup of cards.
For the one who is a perfectionist for detail, you will appreciate the fact that in all the cardlists, lore-text, and game texts
in the databases, where italics and bold type are used on the original cards they are also used here. For instance, you will see
proper starship names in their original italics, you will see "cumulatively" bolded in game texts, and even the class levels
of starships like the Imperial-class Star Destroyer have their proper italicizing.
You are able to search for cards from within a specific realm. If you only want Episode I cards then you can search only Episode I.
If you only want Virtual Cards you can search for only Virtual. If you don't want Virtual cards, and just
the Decipher released cards you can search that way as well.
